What happens if you simply wait? I noticed that in hosted AROS this page loads very long (most likely because some server is not responding), and the browser appears to be hanged, but after few minutes the page appears and everything is back to normal.

Anyway, I agree that such hangs are a problem and this is an issue that needs to be fixed.

I had to wait for 2 minutes, but then it worked. Las time, however, I waited for an hour and then I found AROS hanged, so I filed this bug. I agree with you, however, that this behavior should be fixed anyway. Maybe it's related to AROS TCP/IP, since as I said, I don't have it on AmigaOS' OWB.

  • status changed from assigned to closed.
  • resolution set to fixed.

It was a problem in cURL port - non-blocking sockets weren't enabled. Issue is fixed now, such hangs shouldn't happen in the next release.
